Getting the below error when trying to run gulp from Windows :

Tried

1. npm clean cache --force
2. Uninstalling nodeJS and re-installed it again (including installing all the dependencies from scratch)
3. Deleting npm-cache folder from AppData\Roaming and all its contents.
   Versions:
   node v12.18.0
   npm v6.14.10
   git v2.27.0.windows.1

Any suggestions to resolve this issue would be really helpful! Thank you!!

You should try to run it again - this is an NPM issue. If you have more issues try clearing your npm cache and trying again.

Tried clearing cache but getting the JSON parse error in a different place now :

Now, when I deleted npm and npm-cache folders from AppData\Roaming, getting the below error :

You might be best served wiping your npm install and starting from scratch - I have no idea why your npm isn't working. This isn't the right place to ask questions for npm issues though, you should try their issue tracker or stackoverflow.
