Some UX Feedback

I've only started using Antares in the last few days since starting a new job and moving from macOS to Ubuntu - and so far I love it! Well done, and thanks for this great tool!

My only one usability "niggle" is the blurring of the UI when I want to manually insert a row. I'd really like to be able to see my existing data whilst adding something new. As a nice-to-have on top of that it would be great if I could freely move the "Insert Rows" window around.

Mapping a different shortcut to the "Run" command would also be useful, but not significant.

Sounds like a good idea to me, I'll keep it in mind for future releases. The only limitation would be that the window can only be moved within the main frame of Antares.

Do you have any problems with F5? Which shortcut would be ideal for you?

Thanks for coming back!

I think keeping it within the window is absolutely fine. It would just allow for better visibility of the existing data.

Regarding the shortcut, I always find on laptop devices the need to use the Fn-lock key for F5 keys a bit of a pain - but this is really just an opinion. I'm a fan of Ctrl + R (taken from my time with Sequel Ace).

I see the change to the blurred background went live with 0.5.12! Looks amazing and spot on! Thanks so much

If you want you can disable the blurred background in settings, moving windows will be implemented in the future.
Regarding the shortcuts I'm going to implement the possibility for the user to customize them.

From v0.5.15 you can customize keyboard shortcuts and remap the "Run" shortcut with CTRL+R.
