I'm also having this issue, any solutions?

The quick and dirty solution is this:

arch -x86_64 brew install oracle-jdk
brew install apache-directory-studio

[dbarreda]

any idea of pulling this off without oracle-jdk (using anything but the oracle one?)

Still no other solution thus far.
