Raptoreum vardiff, should i enable

So i have raptoreum / bitoreum running in the test lab with a small test group of friendly miners hitting the pool. As i track the difficulty of the miners increase and decrease I wonder if vardiff should be enabled on an algorithm like ghostrider that bounces share difficulty as much as ghostrider does.
for instance at one point the vardiff is set to 0.719 then downgrade to 0.55
