When I talk, Noisetorch cuts off the beginning of what I say, and sometimes comma and period pauses. It has a very overactive noise gate, which should probably be disabled completely because noise gates tend to be flawed. It suppresses background fan sounds well, but that's the only thing I want it doing; I should be running my own noise gate if I want one. Even voice activation on 0% is too overactive.

I set the voice activation threshold at 0, and while it does occasionally cut out the beginning of what I say, it doesn't happen very often.

Even with the threshold at 0 I have a lot of issues with the beginning of my words being cut off. I think my speech is just naturally more choppy and makes this worse. This has been across all microphones I have tried and has caused me to not use it in most meetings. An improvement to the noise gate would make Noisetorch way more useful for people like me.
