I've run into several issues while figuring out how to make this script work. I'm listing them here for future reference if anyone runs into this.

  1. I was unable to get the export to save directly to the new machine. I tried configuring shared folders, and as permissive permissions as I could, but it would always error on the export saying it couldn't write to the destination.
    • I had to export locally, and then manually copy over to the destination machine.
  2. Unable to create a local account because /lac was not specified #66
  3. There should be more warning that the password for the imported account will be modified according to config
  4. After import I ran into issue where windows popped up asking for the user account's original password to unlock some files.
    • I forget the exact message, if I can find it in my history I'll update this.
    • It never named the files that needed unlocking
    • It refused every password I tried: old password, updated password, empty password.
    • I hit cancel, and it never came up again. I still have no idea what was/is locked in this way.

It would be nice if there were a built in option to copy files from All Users. It was somewhat confusing after import to realize that a lot of items from the old computer on "my desktop" were actually on the "all users desktop"
