Some cluster services (e.g., accessing a compute server's Spark GUI) require you be within Northeastern's network. Such services will only be accessible if you are within Northeastern's campus; alternatively you can use Northeastern's Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Setting up a VPN from your laptop requires several steps, outlined here. It may be worth following these anyway: setting up a VPN will allow you to access other ITS services whose access is restricted off-campus.
