whatsapp module "device is busy"

im trying to use mvt to scan my phone, every time it gets to the whatsapp module it reads "running whatsapp module" "device is busy, maybe run adb kill-server and try again" but i have nothing open on the phone, adb server was just killed, and phone was also restarted. works fine on a second phone i had sitting next to me. whatsapp is also not installed on either, usb debugging is enabled on both. connecting with adb shell works fine, wireless adb works fine (tested after trying to kill server and run mvt again)

I am also getting this issue, is these a terminal option to skip whatsapp if it is not installed?
