Make indicator and image appear simultaneously

Would it be possible to fade in the indicator as the effect is processed in the background? I have a screenshot, blur, and vignette enabled and it takes a second to process the image. This means that the indicator appears immediately, on top of the fully visible un-blurred display buffer, and then a couple seconds later, the background fades to the static, blurred, and vignetted screenshot. I would like to find a way to make the processed image and the indicator appear simultaneously.
