The Effect Refactor Arrives in the Gilead System
For those of you who also play the other Warhammer Systems, the effect refactor is likely already familiar. For those of you who aren't, this is an entire rework and expansion on how Effects can be used. For W&G especially, their capabilities have expanded astronomically.
Automatic migration takes the old data and transforms it into the new format, so existing items should still work in some capacity. However, I do recommend taking important characters (like players) and deleting Talents and Powers/Abilities and re-adding them from the Compendium.
Introducing the Warhammer Library
This library module is actually where most of the code for effects exists, and W&G is the final system to be integrated!
Improvements
There are simply too many changes to list, but I will go over some main points
- Move to V12 exclusive support
- Effect "Dialog" changes have been moved to dialog scripts, and the roll dialog has been refactored and improved to utilize the effect refactor
- Applying Damage from chat now always applies to the target of the attack, instead of whatever token is selected. You can override this by targeting a different token and the effect will be applied to that target. This also applies to "Target" type effects.
- Determination is also an automated part of damage application, or can be skipped by simply closing the roll dialog.
- Species, Archetype, and Faction can now be manually filled in, or added via an Item like previously

Threat Assessment: Xenos is now available! Contains a mass of new alien threats to challenge Agents of any Tier, and is the perfect companion to any Warhammer 40,000 Wrath & Glory campaign.
