You need to make sure the battaries are charged before hand.
For safety and the best use of the hardware, you need to get approved to try your code on the UR5 arm.
- You must show that your policy behaves well in the simulation. This includes sending a video to Glen or Kirsty so we can judge if the policy is acting reasonably enough to try on the hardware.
- You need to show that you understand how to use the safety features on the hardware. How to use the E-Stop and the gantry for the robot, describe what you have done in your code to avoid breaking the robot, and outline how you will protect the robot from falling and getting damaged.
- You need to schedule time on the hardware. It is a limited resource; we must share the hardware and not interfere with other people's experiments.
- You must get permission to modify the robot in any way. Other people may be using the robot, there are also future plans for the robot, and the modifications must be removable.
- You must also get permission to take the robot out of the lab space.
- the Go1 should always be returned to its home, in the lab (3248), at the end of the day.
