This commit adapts source code changes made since Linux 6.6. Please keep in mind that this patch doesn't work for older kernels.

Thanks for the PR. To keep the compatibility, could you please use #if to check LINUX_VERSION_CODE and use different implementations for pre-6.6 and 6.6 onwards?
