One of my ideas have been, that when you have fresh MaweJS installation, new files created come with quick reference section telling the most common shortcuts. It would help absolute beginners to start using the editor.
Later, you probably want new files be empty ones. So, you go to settings, and there is selection to choose the format/content of the new file: (1) empty, (2) quick reference, (3) something else.
Also, in the menu, there could be arrow to submenu to choose from different templates. Menu item itself would create doc from chosen template.
