We investigate issues in order based on priority and severity, which includes the impact it has on your ability to use the extension to do productive work, and the number of people affected. Same problem here. Right now all of my VScode remote connections fail to discover Python Interpreter. Plus, I can not open my Jupyter Notebook file due to this problem. According to my search results of the whole web, the same phenomenon happened in 2021 and 2022. However, on those Github issues websites, I found no solutions. |

In a ssh-remote server the python extension don't work
On this server, vscode's python extensions don't work properly, mainly because they're stuck at the [Discovering Python Interpreters] step.
I've already done the following: rolled back the vscode version, rolled back the python extension version.
Finally, I suspect that it's a problem with conda, which I've removed to simplify the problem.
But it's still not working.
