Plot area color is white in Desktop

We are using Tornado chart in dark-themed reports and while published reports look as intended with plot area blending with background color in Power BI Desktop it is white and not editable. For old reports after publishing to service it also looks like intended. However, I would like to use it in new reports and now inability to match colors might be a problem.
