Cannot save U.S. State?

I was recently made aware by another LoTW user that my state was not showing up in the QSL that was posted. So I went into my station profile and sure enough it was blank, although country (DXCC), city, and county was there. So selecting my home State from the drop down and saving appeared to have done the trick, but when I went back into the station location, the State field was blank again. I've tried creating a separate station location with a different name. Which also appeared to work at first, then also disappeared. I've tried a couple different browsers on different devices. It must be me somehow. What could I be doing wrong here?
