I am searching for an open source hidden voice recorder, could this be it? I looks like the development has stalled?

I'm not working on this actively but it should be fairly stable (please test on your device because some devices have custom battery-saving features which may stop Echo from running in the background). Look at the issue list for known issues. If you discover anything new, please file a bug report. I'll gladly accept any pull requests with bugfixes / new features - in case you want to fix / add anything.

Hi, when the recording hits the set max recording time it doesn't loop, just freezes up and only way to reset it is to force stop the app, which gets frustrating having do so often especially when you need it continuously running. It'd be great if you could look into this, there's been times when I really needed it to be recording but forgot to go in to the app and reset it before hand so it was not recording at all

Works fine for me, just tested it on the shortest recording (happens to be 23minutes and 20seconds long on my phone). Using a Oneplus 9 8GB RAM, running Android 11 OxygenOS 11.2.
