Steps Taken:Just followed "How To" documentations from readme page Required Files:Screenshot:I previously had a hackintosh running on my laptop since Monterey, but it run hot and drained battery quickly. After updating to Sonoma, iService stopped working. I've tried to change some configurations to enable iService but never got it to work. Then I gave up and enjoyed as is. Yesterday, I gave this tool a try and it solved those problems. Thank you very much! |

Actually I had successfully installed macOS on this computer using my self-built EFI before, but it had some minor issues so I gave OpCore Simplifier a try to see if the tool could fix (most of) those ;) Specifications
OverviewI'm testing on my previous macOS Sonoma (14.7.1) installation with OpCore Simplifier's generated EFI. All generated configurations are kept intact since generation, except:

Lenovo Yoga 720 IKB laptop (.. which I was lead to believe would be nearly impossible to get working.)
4 & 5. I'm afraid I've already wiped this experiment. I will take another crack at it when I have more than a couple of hours and will update this message, if that is possible. But since thunderbolt did not work and I use that for essential external devices - I gave up ..for now. |
