CUPS: CUPS is an acronym in Spanish that stands for "Código Único de Punto de Suministro," which translates to Unique Supply Point Code in English. It refers to a unique identification code assigned to each energy supply point, such as a household or business, within a distribution network. The CUPS is used for administrative and operational purposes by energy providers, regulators, and other stakeholders to manage and track energy consumption, billing, metering, and other relevant information associated with the supply point. In the context of energy communities, the CUPS plays a crucial role in facilitating the integration of individual supply points into the collective energy infrastructure and in ensuring accurate and efficient energy management within the community.

Partition Coefficient: In the context of energy communities, the partition coefficient typically refers to a measure used in energy distribution systems to determine the allocation of energy resources among community members.

Plant: A plant in the realm of energy communities typically refers to a facility or installation for the generation of energy. This can include power plants, solar farms, wind turbines, or any infrastructure used to produce energy for the community.

Supply: In the context of energy communities, "supply" denotes the distribution of energy resources to points where consumption occurs. These points, termed "supply points," represent locations where energy is utilized, including households, businesses, or other entities.
