Pavucontrol, a GTK4 application, doesn't use this theme for unknown reasons. Instead, it uses the light Adwaita colors. I just updated to the latest version but that didn't help

Both Pavucontrol v5 (GTK3) and v6 (GTK4) use the dark theme on my Fedora 40 machine.
Additionally, I tried another theme, Graphite-teal-Dark-nord, and there were no issues. I’m not sure what the problem is. What environment are you using? Have you tried other themes?
I'm on a custom X11 desktop environment. I tried other themes and had the same issue. I downgraded to v5 and the theme works fine so it must be an issue with GTK4. I added gtk-theme-name=adw-gtk3-dark to ~/.config/gtk-4.0/settings.ini which fixed the problem. This solution doesn't make sense since adw-gtk3-dark is a GTK3 theme and I thought GTK4 applications are forced to use Adwaita.
