Current Behavior

The option "Use the built-in CODE - Collabora Online Development Edition" doesn't currently work.

This seems to be because of the glibc requirements while Alpine Linux doesn't support glibc.

Expected Behavior

The built-in CODE server works as expected. The user can open and edit documents.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Use this Docker image to host nextcloud
  2. Go to Netcloud Office settings /settings/admin/richdocuments
  3. Choose "Use the built-in CODE - Collabora Online Development Edition"
  4. Check /apps/richdocumentscode/proxy.php?req=/hosting/discovery to see the error message

Environment

- OS: Ubuntu 24.04
- How docker service was installed: Coolify

Not a bug. It's designed to work with their container which is ubuntu based, ours is alpine based. You need to deploy collabora alongside nextcloud and connect it with the app in nextcloud.
