Mysql: invalid types not detected at compile time

First of: thanks for the awesome work you're doing.

when doing this query:

async fn write(pool: &Pool<MySql>) {
    let user_name = "hallo";
    let test = query!(
        r#"INSERT INTO subscriptions (user_id, lesson_id)
VALUES (1, 'hi')"#
    )
    .fetch_all(pool)
    .await
    .unwrap();
    dbg!(test);
}

it panics like expected, since lesson_id is supposed to be a number:

Result::unwrap() on an Err value: Database(MySqlDatabaseError { code: Some("HY000"), number: 1366, message: "Incorrect integer value: 'hi' for column 'lesson_id' at row 1

I Expected this to be shown as an compiler error though. Is there feature or setup required for this compile time checks or is compile time type checking not supported for mysql

i think you need the macros feature.
i have the same problem tho. i dont think it check the insert queries at all. just select ones
