Copy as Markdown Quotation

In Chrome browser, copy text and paste it as markdown quotation.

Install

Install the extension from Chrome Web Store.

Install for developers

Open chrome://extensions/ with your Chrome browser.
Check 'Developer mode'
Add this directory as a chrome extension.

Usage

Select text in a web page and do right-click.
Select 'Copy as Markdown quotation'.
Paste the text.
