Important information on how to start Pronterface for the first time on macOS. To make sure you can use Pronterface without any issues, please read these instructions.

What is the problem:

On macOS all applications have to be certified by Apple to make sure that they are safe. As Pronterface is a small open source project, we are not able to pay Apple to get such a certificate. Because we don't have this certificate, macOS will show you a warning like this, when you try to start Pronterface for the first time:

To be clear, there is nothing to worry about. If you downloaded Pronterface directly from a trusted source like Github:kliment/Printrun, we can guarantee that the application is safe and does not contain any malicious code.
