Tried everything to reset the app, including repair install, uninstall/reinstall, and clearing out everything, but I can't get the app to load.

Any suggestions? I looked through the existing issues that were similar but none of the recommended fixes seem to work. The app works fine on my phone.

I fixed the problem. I uninstalled keybase on my desktop and manually deleted all the associated folders under %appdata%/Local and %appdata%/Roaming, then revoked the device entry for my desktop on my mobile (the mobile client never stopped working). After rebooting, I reinstalled, set a new device name, and authorized the device. It's working fine now. I think the problem was that the device was failing to authorize or authenticate, but I had no way of figuring this out as none of the logs were informative and I had no feedback on this issue. I hope this helps someone else, I hadn't been able to use keybase for weeks.

This might help issue #25082, #24425, #25063, and maybe more.

By the way, as a side effect of this fix you'll have to use a new name for your device, of course. Once you have revoked the device name you can't reuse it ever again.

I have done this, too, but it only helped for a session. After a reboot/shutdown, things are not loading, again.

🙋🏻‍♀️ same issue here.

This issue report seems to have some traction, so I just wanted to update it and say the problem continues for the desktop for Windows 10 version. Can only be device removed / uninstalled / purged / reinstalled / new device added once per session. The whole process needs to be repeated on each successive attempted use.
