Board Hardware
There exists multiple versions of the smartboard, see
Backside of the board can easily be removed by unscrewing the screws along the edge of the board, as well as three screws in the middle of the board.
For V1
make sure to also remove the main unit by loosening the two clips on each side and popping it out.
This will expose the electronics of the board, as well as connectors for the batteries and button.
All boards seems to use the same Texas Instruments CC2541 Bluetooth LE chip.
In the original version of the smartboard this chip can be found inside the "main" component of the board attached on the back.

In the second version of the board, the "main" component available in V1
no longer exist, and there are less visible electronics. But the same chip is used
