Jira plugin for Katalon Studio 10 ignores proxy settings on Ubuntu 24.4

Hello Team,

We are having an issue with the Jira Plugin for Katalon Studio 10 on a system running Linux Ubuntu 24.4 using Zscaler as a proxy. The plugin does not seem to honor proxy configurations and tries to connect directly to Jira in the cloud. Since our firewall does not allow direct internet connections without going through the proxy, this connection is blocked.

Steps to reproduce:

1 System: Install Zscaler as a proxy
1 System: Install a system with Ubuntu 24.4.
Install Katalon Studio 10 and the Jira plugin on Ubuntu machine.
Try to use the Jira plugin to communicate with Jira in the cloud.
Expected behavior: The plugin should recognize and use the system-wide or specifically set proxy configurations to connect to Jira.

Current behavior: The plugin ignores the proxy settings and tries to communicate directly without a proxy, resulting in a block by the firewall.
