I am in the process of building the H5 controller and noticed on removing the back of the Nexion display that there is a holder for what appears to be a round (cmos?) battery. Can this be omitted? Thanks in advance. |

Hi @Clive66, this is for the real time clock, it would be needed if we start using e.g. HTTPS - but I don't expect it to happen soon. |
