How to preserve repeat with modifier key

With the following config on linux,

(defsrc
    f h j k l)

(deflayer default
    (tap-hold 160 160 f (layer-while-held hjkl)) h j k l)

(deflayer hjkl
    _ left down up rght)

When keep pressing ctrl+f, it only apply once.
Without the config, it could repeat the action when keeping both keys pressed.

For reference, my keyboard repeat_delay is set to 192 and repeat_rate is set to 72.

The way to do it with tap-hold is to tap and then quickly press and hold.

Is it possible to keep the original ctrl+f behavior, which does not require double press?
i.e. ctrl+f will keep moving the cursor forward when it is kept pressing, but it lost the ability to do so after bind to tap-hold.

iirc fork doesn't work correctly without (defcfg process-unmapped-keys yes), so a note to OP before they try this.
