What OS and app? I have no idea what lctl+lalt+t is even supposed to do.

Might be a problem with the keyboard or keyboard driver? Or perhaps in evdev in Linux kernel?

It's wayland compositor/libinput.

I tried it without the wayland compositor, just bare bones tty, and it has the same behavior there.

I reboot from the linux-lts kernel, and tested it there. Got the same behavior.

Maybe. Is Pause/break without kanata too?

Pause/Break is an independent keyboard key, might be some mapping in xkb? Though I'm not sure if xkb runs in TTY-only env? I don't expect Kanata would affect this.

Oh, fuck. I thought that it isn't working, because lctl+lalt+s shortcut wasn't working in zen-browser, which I guess it's zen-browser's fault not the keyboard's, Because that the keybind wasn't working I went to the terminal and evtested that keybind, and it paused because it was binded to pause. Because of that I thought that kanata broke it, but then I tested it without kanata, but the result was the same, because of that then I thought something wrong with the kernel, but it wasn't the case.

If you didn't mention pause keybind I would likely go further.🙂
