Hi there, the install guide for Windows needs a slight update.

I made the mistake of putting in https instead of http and I would just get a blank screen pop up and it took me some time to figure it out. Someone had mentioned on here to change the ip in the settings which are found at:

%APPDATA%\Electron

The current install info points to a location that doesn't exist.

Also. I don't get the nice user selection screen like you show in your screenshots. My server is windows and I installed the Windows Jellyfin Server... so I'm guessing that's the reason? they haven't updated it to something as nice as what is shown in your screenshot?

I installed this expecting to have a better user interface for my desktop htpc. The current login option where you type in your user name and password is not remote control friendly. ;)

We now make new users hidden by default (vs "visible" by default as they used to be quite a while ago). You can toggle users' visibility somewhere in server admin dashboard, and they would appear.
