2.4.2 Which wallets are supported?

Mobile Apps

Nova Wallet

  1. Download the app on the App Store or on Google Play
  2. Import or create and fund an account.

Learn how to use your ledger HW wallet with the Nova Wallet App. Make sure you install the Polkadot Generic App on your ledger first.

SubWallet

  1. Download the app on the App Store or on Google Play
  2. Import or create and fund an account.

Fearless Wallet

  1. Download the app on the App Store or on Google Play
  2. Import or create and fund an account.

Desktop Browser Extensions

Talisman

Talisman conveniently combines wallet management in a browser extension with a use friendly interface observe your balances and perform most common transactions.

  1. Download the Talisman extension talisman.xyz
  2. Import or create and fund an account.

(Optional) Connect Your Ledger HW wallet

  1. install the Polkadot Generic App on your ledger
  2. (+) Add Account -> Connect -> Connect Ledger
  3. Select Polkadot
  4. Choose Network "Polkadot"
  5. Choose Ledger App "Polkadot App" (we will use the generic app)
  6. Select the account you wish to connect

Polkadot {js} Extension

This is an expert tool and not recommended for general users. It does, however, provide unique privacy features as it allows fine-grained control over which APIs you share which account addresses with.

  1. Download the extensions via Bowser.
  2. For enhanced privacy:
    1. Manage Extensions -> set site access to "On click"
    2. Extension -> Settings -> Manage Website Access: Only enable accounts a specific site really needs to see
  3. Head to Polkadot-js/apps and connect the extension

(Optional) Connect Your Ledger HW Wallet

only for chome & brave. won't work with firefox

  1. install the Polkadot Generic App on your ledger.
  2. Click on the extension icon
  3. (+) icon in top right -> Attach ledger account
  4. Select network: Integritee
  5. give the account a name
  6. Select the derivation path. leave this a t 0/0 if unsure

Subwallet Extension

  1. Download the extensions via Bowser.
  2. Import or create and fund an account.
