To get started with Magic Box, follow the deployment instructions below and set up the browser plugin for an enhanced experience.
- Download the compose.yaml file.
- Download the .env.example file, rename it to
.env
, and configure it with your OpenAI-compatible API key. - Run
docker compose up -d
. - Open your browser and go to localhost:8080#/test.

- Clone github.com/import-ai/magic-box-client-chrome.
- Open Chrome, go to
chrome://extensions/
, enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner. - Click "Load unpacked" and select the cloned repository folder.
- The extension should now be loaded and ready to use.
- Right-click the extension icon in the toolbar, select "Options", and configure the settings as needed.
