How to prepare a photo-book ?

We want create a hardcover Photobook which contains Photos from several albums and several members in the house.
How do we collect the photos and sync them (as copy) into a directory or external share?

before Immich we tagged the Photos with AVES on smartphone or with shotwell on desktop with a photo-book tag and copied the photos into a directory together.

How would you do this with Immich?

I would recommend to create a shared album and then download it with the pictures.

I do not like the ideaof manually download picture. Is it possible to get a kind of readonly directory that reflect the content of the shared album?

#7488 this would allow to dynamically work on the foto collection and on the photobook.

I have a second usecase for that.
I use Kodi at home and use it as a TV and radiostation, if I listen radio a Diashow is shown on TV. At moment I have to manually download and exchange pictures. with this possibility I could add a Webdav data store to kodi and at the end I'm able to play an Album.
This use case also only need a readonly webdav.
