This application is a simple implementation of an insurance company system based on Dapper ORM and SQL procedures. It has been developed as a task for the job application process and includes storing data in the database and providing a user interface through MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.
The project consists of the following components:
- Database: Contains tables and stored procedures necessary for storing and processing data related to company partners.
- MVC Project: Implements the user interface for the application, including models, controllers, and views.
The application utilizes the following technologies:
- Dapper ORM: Used for accessing and manipulating data in the database through C# code.
- SQL Procedures: For processing logic when saving and retrieving data from the database.
- ASP.NET MVC: For implementing the user interface and interacting with users.
- .NET Framework 4.7.2: Provides the runtime and libraries necessary for building and running the application.
- C#: The programming language used for business logic and application management.
- Set up the database: Execute the scripts to create the database and stored procedures located in the InsuranceCompanyDB directory.
- Configure the database connection: In the MVC project, configure the database connection in the web.config file.
- Run the MVC project: Start the MVC project in the appropriate development environment (e.g., Visual Studio) and verify the application's functionality.
