Chordetect

Chordetect is a piano/guitar chord recognition tool.

Chordetect is aimed at music lovers/music bloggers/music students, etc., and is committed to providing convenient full-end music tools. It can not only be used as an assistant for learning chords, but also can be connected to a MIDI keyboard as a sound source. Users only need to open the browser to connect the MIDI keyboard to use. And supports major functions such as chord recognition/sound source connection/metronome.

The original intention of the design

  • I have been looking for a chord recognition tool that can be used on Windows/Mac/iOS/Android, but to no avail

  • Tried a variety of other tools and found that either the fees are high, or they don't include all the functions I want to use, or I can't connect a MIDI keyboard

  • Chord Recognition

    • Supports MIDI keyboard input to recognize chords
    • Support mouse click or touch screen keyboard input to recognize chords
    • Support keyboard color setting (can be set separately when the pedal is pressed and not pressed, and there are colorful modes)
    • Support for actively setting chord flats and sharps
    • Support Roman numerals chord progression display, and change with key signature

    • Support text input or multi-select box to select the chord you want to find

    • Support automatic generation of staves according to keyboard keys
