Hi @hendrikebbers, @rahul-chakradhari, @ryjones, @samswag, @giftkugel,

I came across [Issue](#16) and would like to request permission to work on it. However, the issue currently lacks specific details, so I wanted to share some observations and suggestions after exploring the project website.

Observations:

  • The website still has a "Hacktoberfest" route: https://hiero.org/hacktoberfest/.
  • This route is not prominently linked or easily accessible from the main site.
  • Some issues listed on the "/hacktoberfest" page are still open and unassigned, even though Hacktoberfest has passed.

Suggestions:

  1. Visibility: Add a link to the "Hacktoberfest" route on the main page or another prominent section to improve accessibility.
  2. Route Name Update: Since Hacktoberfest has ended, consider renaming the route to something more generic (e.g., /community-projects or /open-issues) to keep it relevant year-round.
  3. Issue Categorization: Perhaps create a new section on the website for ongoing or beginner-friendly issues to encourage more contributions outside of Hacktoberfest.

Let me know if these suggestions align with the project's goals. I’m happy to proceed with updating the route and improving visibility or any other tasks you think are necessary.

Looking forward to your feedback!

Best regards,
Ibrahim Bello
