remove wget dependancy

This script is dependant on wget just to fetch files. It would be nice to add some more ways. And then take an app that is preferable. One does not need wget just to fetch a file. BSD fetch is OK. On Linux even we could see if some text browsers can not do it, or mostly curl is installed, maybe that's also a drop-in for linux.
