The RARE NAME tab will lag for a few seconds the first time you click it for any given Hero/Stash/Locker tab

This is unavoidable at the moment with tens of thousands of new strings loading. I have included String-Databases.zip with 3 different levels:

1. Rare Names Only (3k) will be pretty much instant
2. Short Strings (35k) is the default middle ground of loading time allowing you to still find cool names
3. All Strings (60k) is absolutely every string in the game with duplicates and credits text removed, will be the slowest until the next update

I will try to have an update soon to fix the lag!

Changes

• As always, every new Item and Affix from v2.7.4/Season 27 was added
• Support for the new SANCTIFIED item flag which only works during Seasonal play - item name will prefix with "+" when Sanctified
• Dumped and parsed ALL 60,661 strings in the game to use as Rare Names
• Another massive performance increase, with tasks and threading implemented by @GoobyCorp as the first outside code contributor for this editor
  • When testing the database of 60k strings, another editor took 41 minutes to launch... v4.2 launches instantly
• Defaults to season 27 instead of 26, and now you can edit \db\CurrentSeason.txt if there's a new season before a new editor release
• Some UI adjustments, including Ctrl+X no longer closing the app (that's the Cut shortcut!!)
• Fixed: Stash tab used to have gear stuck in different slots when importing from Stash or Hero File, now it will correctly put everything into Stash
• Affix, GBID, Skills, and String lists are now all encrypted, but you can add new entries to Affix_List.txt, GBID_List.txt, \db\user_skills.txt and \db\user_strings.txt so the editor will never be obselete as long as there are updated text files

PLEASE read the extensive changelog in v4.0 for full changes compared to D3Studio 3.5 by @Tonic-Box - I'm trying to keep these notes short-ish

Exclusive Features

• Every single GBID, Affix, and SNO string in the game
• Support for every possible item flag in the game, even though most are unknown, you can toggle them
• Launches and loads saves in a fraction of the time of all other editors, with massively reduced RAM usage
• Developed for editing Switch/PS4 seasonal saves as opposed to editing Xbox 360/PS3 saves for next-gen import (which cannot affect seasons, so please use D3StudioFast for 360/PS3)
  • This allows for my modern approach to truly unlock every transmog, legendary power, frame, pet, and wing set... including ALL SEASONAL PETS, and the Wanderer's Set + Ethereal transmogs with one click
• Single executable file, total file count in the zip is 16 files and 2 folders for a total size of ~4.5MB - NOT cluttered with useless files
• The ability to duplicate 1x, 10x, or 50x in one click instead of spamming the old button
• The ability to paste tier quality to selected items, the same as pasting rare name to selection
• Sanctified items are marked with a plus (+)
• Primal Ancient items are marked with an asterisk (*)
• All stashes forcibly change the square_index (item stash slot) from 0-910 (max) for each item, this avoids situations where duping too many items in the editor wouldn't show up in the in-game stash. I ran into this issue with only 148 items in my stash!
• Support for the remaining 8 flags for item properties
  • These flag effects are unknown, but real gear from in-game spawns with flags 4, 12, 14, and 16 by default
• Still the only editor to handle all the new data in S25 Soul Shards (which, along with Ethereals, can still be used in Season 27)
  • Why does this matter? If inserting/modifying legit items or opening a save with S25 Soul Shards, you can actually copy/paste/duplicate them without the constant errors from every other editor, and they will behave properly when leveled up in-game ²
• Full support for displaying and editing the 8 missing follower item slots, every single item slot in the game is properly handled: 32 total new slots including generic follower slots and Scoundrel/Templar/Enchantress
• Changed "Max All Materials" to "99999999 Materials" so you can still pick up materials in-game, amongst many other UI and quality-of-life improvements exclusive to this release

² With this editor, Soul Shards have always leveled up properly and unlocked new Hell Powers (affixes) when upgraded, just like the legit items

Notes

It is NOT POSSIBLE with current homebrew apps to decrypt PS4 saves on your PC, you must follow my guide and use a jailbroken PS4. Save Wizard does not support decrypting D3 saves, only resigning them. Do not listen to anyone who says or promises otherwise!

I want to translate the entry into Chinese. May I ask how to change the encrypted Affix, GBID, Skills and String lists

The new entries from 2.7.4/S27 are less than 20 count. You can click "GBID/Affix Lists" in the tool and see the labeled 2.7.4 entries for easy manual copying!

You can add to the lists, but I have encrypted them from here on out to stop thieves from copying the files then taking credit in their crappy versions of TonicBox's editor. Sorry about that.

You're welcome. Remember the tool will read from GBID_List.txt and Affix_List.txt and append them to the most current database. So, put translated items in those files. When you are finished you should be able to delete the contents of the .bin files (or delete them completely, I forget which one) - to make a Chinese-only editor.

The restriction here is the Rare Name strings. The whole reason to start using encryption, even when all GBIDs were posted previously, is because the 60,000 strings have never been public and I don't want them to be copied. Unfortunately I have no bulk solution for you to translate, you can copy the very appealing ones to \db\user_strings.txt and again, the editor will append to the system database.

If this is extremely important and you have multiple Chinese users who would really benefit from these strings, maybe I could privately datamine the China D3 game files and provide a translated system_strings.bin for the editor.

But if it's not very important, please let me know either way.
