[BUG] Menu button closes immediately after clicking on aarch64 based Debian VM on ChromeOS #5349

I am running Ghostty on an aarch64 based Chromebook with a Debian VM and the menu button closes automatically immediately after clicking it.

Since GPU acceleration is disabled by default, I have the following experimental flags enabled as shown in the screenshot below to allow Ghostty to launch normally:

Here is more information about my host machine

ChromeOS version: Version 132.0.6834.76 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC (little endian 64-bit) aarch64

Any help on how I may work around this is greatly appreciated.

I have tried reinstalling, yet there's no updated release and I didn't get any advice on how I may workaround this but saw that my issue was closed without comment.

My apologies if my issue sounded stupid or incompetent.
