When I select text to copy/paste and then clear the screen, the text is gone but the highlighted portion of the screen is still there.

Steps to reproduce:

  • select some text to copy it

  • hit cmd+k to execute clear_screen

Since you mention command, I suppose you're on a Mac. I just tried it on a MacBook Pro 14 inches (running MacOS 14.6.1) and couldn't reproduce the bug.
Thought I'd mention it for the developers, since it does not seem to happen for everyone.
Cheers

I was able to consistently reproduce this issue. Reproduction steps:

  1. Select an area.
  2. Trigger a clear_screen (You can use this keybinding: keybind = cmd+k=clear_screen).
  3. The selected area is still highlighted.
