Slight vertical squashing of JetBrainsMono compared with other terminals

Comparing Ghostty to Wezterm or Gnome-terminal, it seems at least with JetBrainsMonoNF that fonts are rendered with additional padding-top, resulting in a slight vertical squashing of the text. As a result, JBM looks slightly 'wrong'. Screenshot attached with wezterm on left, the cursor over 'F' shows the additional padding, and font squashing can be clearly seen with the extra top cell padding on the status line.

Side note, I noticed on the screenshot that ghostty doesn't use subpixel antialiasing (cleartype), others offer this as a config option or follow the desktop settings. Can't find any option for this, is it planned?

This option allows an adjustment to fix the font looking slightly off center vertically. A 1px adjustment in my case.

However the the font is still squashed vertically and looks incorrect. Look at the 'F' character with the cursor, the '1' character to the left, and also the 'N' and time digits on the status line. In ghostty, everything is slightly vertically squeezed.

Can anyone confirm / reproduce this? I'm seeing it in Arch and Linux Mint running Cinnamon DE.
