It's unlikely that any new Linux frontends will be added to the main Ghostty source. A third party could certainly attempt making an out-of-tree frontend that used the framebuffer and libghostty. Note that Ghostty requires a GPU to render the terminal screen so I don't know how that would work with the framebuffer. |

Ghostty uses GTK as its toolkit on linux. It doesnt do alot of the lower level initialization like talking directly to the framebuffer device so i see it as very unlikely that it would ever be supported
From what i see online GTK does not support the framebuffer device so not possible
