Ctrl + plus (via shift on a Qwertz keyboard on Linux) does not increase font size.

First many thanks to the developper of Ghostty which is a great piece of software! I have a Qwertz keyboard and I am running Linux Mint. In order to write the plus sign in a keyboard, I have to type Shift + 1 key (because, as far as I know, there is no way to directly access the plus key on my keyboard without shift). However, Ctrl> + Shift + plus does not increase the font size (I already had the same issue on other terminal emulators (kitty to name it) which I couldn't solve. How could I solve this problem? N.B. the command Ctrl + minus does allow to decrease the font size. I had a look at the following issue: #3899 which didn't help me to find a solution.
What shall I do?

can you look at the terminal inspector and see what combination of keys you are pressing are actually reported as?

you can open it from the menu icon or ctrl+shift+i ghostty replies on the reported keybinds and not the physical key unless you add the physical modifier

Ok thank you for this info. So I pressed with Ctrl+shift+i I pressed with Ctrl+1 and Ctrl+shift+ plus which gave me the same combination in the terminal inspector (and again: I unfortunately do not know how to have access to the plus key on my keyboard without using shift. Do you know what could be my next step?

What is the output of ctrl+shift+1 in the inspector? If you can show a video that would help

looking at this image if shift is the only way to generate plus then you either need to change the keybind to include shift ctrl+shift+plus since that is what the terminal inspector sees it as or you can change it to ctrl+one

to be very clear there is no way to tell ghostty to ignore a modifier if shift is required to generate a key than shift must also be part of that keybind

many thanks for your answer. I added the following to the config file:

keybind = ctrl+one=increase_font_size

but when I launch ghostty, i get the following error message:

One or more configuration errors were found while loading the configuration. Please review the errors below and reload your configuration or ignore the erroneous lines.

You need to give it a size on how much to increase by keybind=ctrl+one=increase_font_size:1 for example
