On other terminals (only tried
wezterm
), hitting the ANSII sequence for Escape,^[
, works like hitting the normal Escape key on the keyboard. Specifically, when inviins
mode in ZSH, it swaps tovicmd
as expected.In
ghostty
,^[
behaves differently from the Escape key, in that the entire line is deleted when hitting^[
in ZSH, when inviins
mode. Are others seeing the same? Any way to fix it?
