Strange trip data

I've been driving a e2008 for about a month. The car itself is great, the MyPeugeot app not that much. My experience with remote monitoring of charging (levels & status) is, frankly, bad. It doesn't seem to refresh on its own, nor send me a notification when the status changes.

The one thing in the app that does seem to work fine is trip recording. I'm not sure how this works - trip information seems to be shared by the car with the app over Bluetooth (at least that's what is suggested); I wonder how that works as I never use that app while I'm in the car. I do carry my phone with me, so that should be some kind of background task of the MyPeugeot app then that runs even when the app isn't in active use.

Anyway, because this is working nicely, I have a good log of the trips I drove with the car so far. With the internet based PSA api that PSA Car Controller is using, I get silly results.

My trip log in the MyPeugeot app lists over 80 trips. The PSA Connected Car API just produces two. To start with the second trip reported in the debug list above, it starts at may 10th, 18:18, extends 4.4km and ends at 18:26. The MyPeugeot version of this trip starts at may 10th, 20:15 until 20:26 and lists the distance as 5.5km. The time difference is UTC vs local timezone, but why does the one have the trip start 3 minutes earlier and have 1.1km longer distance?

The first one reported through the PSA Connected Car api is really bogus. Supposedly it is a 20+ hour drive, for 39.1km.

I can't relate the start of this trip (may 8th, 21:47 UTC = 23:47 local time) to any of the trips in the MyPeugeot app, nor do I recall driving the car that late on that day or anyone else for that matter. And on may 9th, I have 7 different trips logged in the MyPeugeot app that indeed match my own recollection.

It appears that trip logging for this vehicle in the PSA Connected Car database is unreliable. Question is: can I do something about it?
