 The ['New Horizon'](https://www.gamersfirst.com/apb/news/2024/8/6/new-horizon) APB update introduced a new anti-cheat known as SARD and with it came [new, stricter config rules](https://www.gamersfirst.com/apb/news/2024/8/14/sard-faq) which more or less state that anything outside of `.ini` file edits and `localization` is *"at your own risk"*. As these are all very new rules that are still a work in progress by Little Orbit, I would advise anyone who wants to stay on the safe side to only use the files that are included in my configs after v1.8.0 NH (NH = New Horizon). If you're fine with taking the risk you may try to use files from the previous ones (v1.7.4 and below) which have been removed from the NH ones. Most of them should technically work but whether the anti-cheat/LO will take action on them is yet unknown. This is your only warning. I will keep the rest of the readme document in-tact for now as things are still developing on the config front.
 
 Additionally, for anyone who wants to be 110% sure they will remain clean and unharmed, I would even go as far as to advise you to completely reinstall the game from scratch by uninstalling, then deleting/wiping your entire APB folder and downloading the game again then only applying my new NH configs. Not necessary but if you can do it then you might as well.
