Using FIL wallet to sign transactions ?

Boris Mann: I’d prefer to see many operators use Estuary and improve the Filecoin ecosystem so users and developers use their own FIL — for both storage and e.g. paying for apps. Basically, this is to facilitate removing the need for Escrow wallets on nodes, where a user FIL address signs a transaction with permission for funds or other actions, which is then submitted to the network. My hypothesis is that people directly using FIL — and thus having a FIL wallet address — is the ultimate in long term onboarding

Jennifer: Will be challenging if the user wants to do verified deals only so they can enjoy cheaper storage in this case since applying for datacap is a relatively long process with many due diligence steps at the moment.

mark5891#0152: from both a security and privacy point of view each user should probably have their own key, yes. If there were one key and something were to leak or be insecure, all users would be affected. In the current setup it "could" work with one key and an insane amount storage for that one key, but yeah that's not ideal. (For web3.storage)

Pooja: Yeah totally. I think something like a metamask integration or integrating with some other wallet to do what you're suggesting makes a lot of sense.
