Description: In BOLD’s recent migration to an updated platform, their domain changed from boldsystems.org to v4.boldsystems.org, breaking 89 “View collection record” links in LinEpig. Can we modify the MulIdentifier field in our Multimedia records of BOLD urls to match? (EMu search MulDescription == Specimen record in BOLD Systems) Example:

Response: These can be batch updated with an import, also keep the old url in notes with type/kind=previous url.

The Axiell multimedia group is working on this issue (to document old/alternate urls/filepaths)

To import / batch update, include these 5 columns:

• irn = irns for records to update
• MulDocumentType = U
• MulIdentifier = new url
• Notes = Prev url: ___ [kw checking fieldnames]
• NteType_tab(+ group='1') = Previous URL
• NteText0(+ group='1') = [previous url value]
