The above comment asking you to download a file is malware to steal your account; do not under any circumstances download or run it. The post needs to be removed. If you have attempted to run it please have your system cleaned and your account secured immediately. |

@caineblood so, you have some scanning software. Are you scanning all comments on GitHub ? Is it charity? Or owners of GitHub pay you? Or it's personal revenge to that malware? |
I am staff on a minecraft modpack dev's discord and saw the flood of posts hitting their github (which is linked to the discord); decided to look into it further and figured i'd give out warnings as i did while github finally gets around to addressing the issue; honestly they should have a way to filter comments/posts based on a blacklist. |
